Mr. Mohamed Mohie currently occupies the position of Managing Director of Egyptian Gulf Holding Company for Financial Investments (the investment arm of the Egyptian Gulf Bank, the fastest-growing bank in Egypt for three consecutive years from 2015 to 2018). Where he leads the company’s strategy toward investing in non-banking financial activities.

  He has over 17 years of extensive experience in investment management. Where he worked at the Central Bank of Egypt in the Reserve Management Unit responsible for managing the country’s external reserves from 2005 to 2016. His last position at the Central Bank of Egypt was as a senior portfolio manager.

He also has international experience through his work as a lead trader in the Investment Department of the Arab Monetary Fund in Abu Dhabi from 2016 to 2018.

As for academic degrees, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University in 2005. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign-USA in 2008. He became a CFA Certified Financial Analyst in 2018.
